Subterranean

This is my first time posting for Illustration Friday and the topic is 'Subterranean'. The first thing i thought of was caves deep down underground. At first i thought of drawing someone in a cave exploring with a sinister creature lurking in the shadows, but as i struggle drawing scenery i decided to give myself the challenge of just drawing the cave and the entrance to the tunnel into the unknown... I used mostly water coloured pencils and some paints to create this. First time back doing any kind of art in years and can't wait to start up again and hopefully will progress! :)
